Enduratex materials are renowned for their supple and excellent shaping and forming qualities. The material is superb to work with and additionally meets the physical specifications follows:
Enduratex meets the physical specification BS 5790 par 1:type 2;Grade X:1996 and ISO 7617-1:1994E
Enduratex uses UV stabilised pigments conforming to 500 hours minimum – equal to 4+ on the grey scale. Scale 5 properties are available by special arrangement. Enduratex is heat sealable and treated front and back for Mildew Resistance.
Enduratex is tested and approved to IMO Res. A652(16), EASA.CS925.853(a) App F, Part 1(A)(i and ii) as C.A.A.8. Enduratex is produced under quality control procedures ISO 9001 BSMI Registries. Enduratex is compliant for RoHS – Restriction of use of hazardous substances, EN71/3 – Restriction of use of heavy metals. Enduratex also conforms to all current requirements of REACH and is monitored to comply with all future REACH regulations for the control of potentially hazardous substances in the Chemical Industry.

enduratex© Contract materials have been tested and approved to the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire)(Safety) regulations 1988 (amended) S.I.No. 1324, using BS5852:1990 and meets the flammability requirements:
Schedule 4, Part 1, “The cigarette test”
Schedule 5, Part 1, “The Match test”
Section 4 of BS 5852:1990, Source 5 Assessment of the ignitability of upholstered sheeting by smouldering and flaming sources (Crib 5).

enduratex© Contract materials have been surface abrasion tested to BS EN ISO 12947-2:1999 as modified by Annex A of BS EN 14465:2003 and to BS 5690:1991: Annex F of BS 2543:1995 when they exceeded the requirement for ‘Severe Contract’ in accordance with the Martindale Abrasion Test.

Weight material (substrate) = 110 gsm minimum
Coating material/top coat = 100% PVC
Weight of coating = 685 gsm minimum
Total weight of product = 795 gsm
For the ‘phthalate’ content
The plasticiser in use is 810p (n-Octyl n-Decyl Phthalate) and the CAS no. 119-07-3 – this is a very similar plasticiser in structure to DINP, which we use for all our production to Europe, and which is fully REACH conformable.
